Legoland Malaysia
The first International Theme Park in Malaysia was finally opened on September 15, 2012. It is the first Legoland in Asia and sixth in the world after Denmark, Britain, California, Florida and Germany. Legoland is exactly situated at Nusujaya, Iskandar Malaysia Economic Region in Johor Bahru.
For those coming from Kuala Lumpur, go to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) first, and travel for around 4 to 5 hours from TBS to Larkin Station in Johor Bahru for RM31 bus fare. From Larkin Bus Station take the Causeway Link buses going to Legoland at RM2.10 for adults and RM1.40 for kids.
If you'll be coming from Singapore, go to Jurong Bus Interchange or Boon Lay Bus Interchange. From Jurong Bus Interchange, take CW3/CW3S/CW4/CW4S buses. From Boon Lay take CW6. Have your passports stamped at Singapore Customs and then to Malaysian Customs. Take the JPO2 bus or any Causeway Link Buses which are going to Legoland.

Legoland has seven themed areas of attraction: the Beginning, Lego Technic, Lego Kingdoms, Imagination, Lego City, Land of Adventure and Miniland. It features more than 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. Some rides are still scheduled for maintenance and construction as of April 2013.

there's also a driving school fit for baby James age and height

The MINILAND, Legoland's Centerpiece, took them three years and more than 30 million lego bricks to recreate some of Asia's famous landmarks.

The weather here is scorching hot! The temperature can reach up to 42 degress celsius. Bring umbrella and hats and also extra shirts for your kids. I think the RM140 is so expensive as the other attractions, most especially their 4D rides, are closed on our visit. We came here by 2pm and were finished by 5:30pm. Maybe you have to wait first in the opening of their Water Theme Park in 2013 so your entrance fee will be worth it! The buses going back to Larkin Bus Terminal are few or I must say nothing at all. We went back to Larkin by riding a taxi at RM50 good for all of us. So expensive coz we went here by just spending RM2.10 for adults and RM1.40 for kids from Larkin.
My kids had a lot of fun though the entrance fee is a bit expensive =)
The Lego-themed hotel will be open in 2014.

Kuala Lumpur : Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)
Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Malay language means "Southbound Integrated Terminal". TBS is located 10 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur. It is exactly located at Jalan Terminal Selatan, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
We are in a hurry so we took a taxi from KL Sentral to TBS (taxi fare RM20). But when we got here the second time, we took the LRT (Bandar Tasik Selatan Station) at TBS in going to KL Sentral. We paid only RM1 per person.

This modern airport-like bus terminal is the latest integrated transport terminal in Bandar Tasik Selatan. It opened in January 2011. It has a direct connection to LRT, KLIA Transit and Komuter Train. If you plan to tour Singapore or you want to bring your kids to Legoland in Johor Bahru (which is 4 to 5 hours travel from TBS), you need to get here to reach the southern part of Malaysia.

when we arrived from Singapore
There are convenience stores, pharmacy, some shops and fastfood chains like KFC and Kenny Roggers. Most of the fastfood chains are located at the 4th floor.
Terminal Bersepadu Selatan Terminal in Bandar Tasik Selatan is Kuala Lumpur's gateway to the south. It serves south Malaysia bound buses like Johor Bahru, Melaka and Singapore.
Information about bus schedules, bus companies, fares and time of departure, click here.
and for the location map of TBS, click here
My impressions about TBS... clean, comfortable, convenient and so complete...I hope bus stations or even the airports in the provinces of my country will be like this. Truly a state-of-the-art bus terminal station. Amazing talaga!

Kuala Lumpur : Bintang Walk and Petronas Twin Towers
From our guesthouse in Pasar Seni, we rode the GOKL bus in going to Bukit Bintang. To further explore Kuala Lumpur, we started at Bintang Walk.
Let's start our Bintang Walk journey...
the lucky kid...he can sleep anytime, anywhere
asking for directions
Bintang
Walk is Kuala Lumpur's premiere shopping and dining. It is located at
the heart of the city's "Golden Triangle". Bukit Bintang district
begins with Jalan Bukit Bintang which starts at Jalan Raja Chulan and
ends at Pudu Road. The malls surrounding Bintang Walk includes
Berjaya Times Square, Bukit Bintang Plaza, Imbi Plaza, Fahrenheit 88, Low
Yat Plaza, Starhill Gallery, Sungei Wang Plaza, Lot 10 and Pavilion KL.
Bintang Walk has been regarded as KL's most fashionable and most trendy shopping district. If
New York has Times Square, Kuala Lumpur has its own Bintang Walk. It becomes
very lively at night! Major celebrations like New Year countdown and
Merdeka eve celebrations as well as street concerts and fashion shows
are celebrated here. And what are we doing here? Actually we just
happen to pass by to reach Petronas Twin Towers.
We went inside one of the malls in Bintang Walk
nice car!
the air conditioned walkway...from Bukit Bintang to KLCC
artistic underpasses
Oh Yeah!!!
walls of underpass
a long walk...they decided to sit for a while =)
playing with their reflections while waiting for others who went to the restroom
We met a Pinay and ask for directions...it's really a long walk from Bukit Bintang to KLCC eh?
playtime!!!
Aquaria is located inside KLCC
at last we reached Petronas Towers by walking from Bukit Bintang...exhausting!!!
That's it!!!
Petronas
Twin Towers has a world record of being the tallest towers from
1998-2004, until surpassed by Taipei 101. But still they remain to be
the tallest twin buildings in the world. Petronas towering height is 1,483 ft or 452 meters and has 88 storeys. It has a skybridge with a length of 58.40 meters. The hollow space between the towers is linked by the skybridge at levels 41 and 42.
just the half of the Twin Towers
the cute tourists kids

Believe
it or not, we walked again from Bukit Bintang going back to Raizzy's
Guesthouse...so tiring!!! We just rewarded them with their favorite
meryenda, refillable softdrinks, french fries, sandwiches and a toy at
Mcdonalds!!!
Berjaya Times Square
at Mcdonalds
Pinays we've met along the way...See you again!!!
met Robin Padilla too!!!
Adriano Family in Petronas
We went back to Petronas the following day the easier way...From our guesthouse, we rode a GOKL bus from Pasar Seni to Bukit Bintang and rode another GOKL bus from Bukit Bintang to KLCC Mall. easy ei?
There's a free tour of going up to Petronas Towers everyday, you just need to be at KLCC Suria when it opens at 9am. They are giving away at least 1,800 tickets per day, so you'll have a great chance to get these free tickets if you arrive early. For a detailed information on how to get these tickets, click here. The tickets can be bought online at RM80 (Php1,080).
the Twin Towers conquered!
